The released 911 dispatcher call reveals how the actor’s home address was clarified several times, and the call itself is described in the protocols as a “possible death call.”
The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that the report of the incident at T. Curry’s home was received late in the evening – around 11:23 PM.
The recording clearly captures the on-duty dispatcher’s instruction: “Any North Hollywood crew – ambulance investigation.”
Upon receiving the report, medical personnel immediately rushed to the specified location. However, the responding emergency services could no longer assist the actor – T. Curry’s death was declared at the scene.

T. Curry, born in the United Kingdom on April 19, 1946, was best known for a wide range of comedic – and often villainous – roles. His most famous role was Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the 1975 film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” which he later performed multiple times on stage.
The British star began his career in London’s West End theater, where, after graduating from the University of Birmingham, he performed in the original production of “Hair” in 1968. However, according to the actor himself, he slightly lied about his experience to get this role.
“When asked if he had professional experience and an actors’ union card, Tim lied about both,” his website states. “By the time producers found out the truth, his talent and charisma had already made such a strong impression that they helped him become a union member.”
Throughout his career, he repeatedly returned to the stage, performing for audiences in both London and New York. In 2004, he debuted as King Arthur in the Broadway musical “Spamalot.” Over his lifetime, he earned three Tony and two Laurence Olivier Award nominations for his theater work.
Later screen roles for T. Curry included Ruster Hannigan in the 1982 film “Annie,” where he acted alongside Carol Burnett and Bernadette Peters, the butler Wadsworth in the 1985 cult comedy “Clue,” and Long John Silver in the 1996 film “Muppet Treasure Island.”
In 2020, he and C. Burnett reunited to discuss their villainous characters from “Annie” in an interview for Forbes magazine. “Ruster was a conman, and people like those characters,” T. Curry explained. “He was a lot of fun. I created the role my way, but the three of us were very close – like the three musketeers. Carol, of course, is a legend and probably the funniest woman in the world.”
T. Curry also frequently appeared on television, including the villainous clown Pennywise in the 1990 TV adaptation of Stephen King’s novel “It.” He was also a highly prolific voice actor, winning a Daytime Emmy Award in 1991 for his work on the animated series “Peter Pan and the Pirates.” T. There, he reunited with another colleague from “Annie” – Aileen Quinn, who played the red-haired lead character. At the time, A. Quinn told PEOPLE magazine: “It was a very emotional moment because people often don’t realize how good and warm a person he is in reality.”
“When I approached him, I asked, ‘Tim, do you remember this face?’ and he replied, ‘Of course I remember!’ and smiled a little slyly,” recalled A. Quinn. “There was still the same spark in his eyes.
