The event, organized by the Business Women’s Club “BPW Vilnius Chamber” operating at the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (VPPAR), belonging to the international “BPW International” organization, this year brought together over 80 invited guests from all over Lithuania, Spain, and Cyprus.

The festive evening was also graced by well-known faces: the event was adorned by Laura, the wife of the legendary basketball player Šarūnas Marčiulionis, rarely seen in public, beauty pageant winner Asta Muralytė, Lithuanian education leader and philanthropist Tatjana Liubertienė with her daughter Agne, TV show host Edvardas Žičkus, famous vocalist Silvija Pankūnaitė-Micutė, photographer Greta Skaraitienė, renowned lawyer Rasa Vaičekauskytė, dancer Skaistė Uselytė, Vilnius City Municipality Council member Erika Kuročkina, interior decorator Indrė Reimorienė, one of the country’s most famous florists Inesa Borkovska, exterior designer Rasa Markevičiūtė, and many other representatives of business, culture, and society.
The core of the evening was an extraordinary atmosphere based on women’s leadership, mutual support, and solidarity. The opening of the event was accompanied by performances from the historical dance studio “Baltoji Pavana,” and a particularly touching moment was the international “BPW International” candle lighting ceremony. This tradition, which has been alive for more than 90 years, symbolizes women’s economic independence, equal opportunities, and international unity.
The contribution of the organizing team and the acceleration of the club’s growth were emphasized at the event by one of the leaders of the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, Gintarė Danilevičė: “The Business Women’s Club is an important part of the Vilnius Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts community, also operating within the broad international BPW network. Today, we see not only a growing number of members but also a stronger team ready to implement ambitious projects. One of the most important is the international 3-day ‘BPW Europe’ conference to be held in Vilnius in 2028. We aim to bring together about 700 enterprising women from various countries around the world to the Lithuanian capital. This evening once again showed that we have a strong Chamber community, international connections, and a team capable of turning this goal into reality.”
The initiator of the evening, VPPAR Vice President and President of the Business Women’s Club and “BPW Vilnius Chamber,” Irma Spudienė, emphasized the symbolism of the event and meaningful connections. “The color yellow is a symbol of the sun, light, energy, and optimism, which we carry together today. It is good for me to see women united by the desire to grow, create, and share. Such evenings are born from sincere care and belief in the power of community,” said I. Spudienė during the opening.
During the ceremony, a new tradition was also introduced – a solemn inauguration of new members, during which recently joined businesswomen were welcomed and awarded membership badges.
However, the festive evening was not only an opportunity to forge new connections but also to extend a helping hand. A Charity Auction was held during the event, for which exclusive gifts and original works were donated by the club members themselves and the event partners.
Nearly 3000 euros were raised during the auction. All funds will be allocated to cover the organizational costs of this year’s free social responsibility conference “Employee with a Disability: (Non)Norm 2026,” which will take place in November. “For the seventh year, this conference brings together representatives of business, government institutions, and non-governmental organizations for a joint discussion on the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market. So every gift purchased at today’s auction has double value – joy for the recipient and real help for the change we are creating together,” emphasized I. Spudienė.
The evening ended with tasting snacks, a musical performance by Silvija Pankūnaitė-Micutė, warm discussions, and a walk along the shore of Ungurys Lake, leaving a strong desire to continue growing the network of enterprising women and noble social initiatives.
