A strange situation has arisen due to T. Parker’s commitments to the NBA league.
While ASVEL will play their first friendly match in this preparation phase against the Saint-Chamond SCABB team on Friday, T. Parker will be in the Philippines participating in the “NBA Philippines House” event.
As announced by the ASVEL club itself, T. Parker will be replaced in the first game by assistant Vincent Collet, the former long-time coach of the French national team.

We remind you that T. Parker is also the owner of the ASVEL club.
He hoped to gather a very ambitious budget this season, but in the end had to significantly lower his expectations (as well as his salary) even before the season started.
