Savickas told Žinių radijas on Thursday when asked about the likelihood of him expressing no confidence in the ESO head.

According to the minister, he is not yet raising “personal issues.”
“I believe that, undoubtedly, ESO, which is part of the ‘Ignitis’ group, and the ‘Ignitis’ group itself will have to make their internal decisions. At the state level, we will look at who received what tasks and how successfully they were implemented,” said L. Savickas.
As BNS wrote, R. Radvila himself stated that he plans to assess his responsibility for the situation after the storm that raged over the weekend, once electricity supply is restored to all residents.
According to L. Savickas, at the state level, efforts will be made to ensure that a similar situation does not recur in the future and does not cause such an impact.

“Everything needs to be prepared for, forecasted, and have an operating model as such, and then draw conclusions. I am sure that at the state level, we will seriously look into how to ensure that we cannot have such an effect going forward,” said the minister.
As BNS wrote, during the storm that raged over the weekend, one person died, four more were injured, and electricity supply was disrupted for more than 268 thousand consumers. On Thursday morning, 62 thousand consumers still do not have electricity.
Due to the storm and significant losses to farmers, the government declared a state of emergency at the national level on Wednesday.
