On the social network “Facebook”, G. Kaukas shared his thoughts that came to him 30 days after the death of his daughter Anastasija.
The grieving father also asked for one very sensitive thing.
“Today marks 30 days since we said goodbye to Anastasija.
Different religions and traditions explain very differently what happens to a person’s soul after death. Some speak of the soul’s journey, others – of waiting, purification, rebirth, or transition to another level of existence.
The time, rituals, and understanding of the afterlife also differ.
However, one thing surprisingly often repeats in different faiths and cultures – good deeds in the name of the deceased person.
Prayer. Helping another. Sacrifice to someone who needs it. Compassion. A kind word. A planted tree. A fed animal. A comforted person. Any small action that brings more good into the world.
This will not bring Anastasija back. She has already left. But the bond of love does not necessarily break due to death. Love continues through what we do, how we live, and how much good we create.
Therefore, we want to ask: do a good deed in Anastasija’s name.
It can be very small, and you don’t have to tell anyone about it. Just help someone who needs help today. Show more patience. Hug a loved one. Donate. Forgive.

May every such good deed become a small particle of Anastasija’s light in this world.
We cannot bring Anastasija back.
But we can make the world a little better because of her life.

Žmonės.lt reminds that in Ažulaukė, Vilnius district, a “BMW 116” car, driven by a girl born in 2007, while overtaking a “Ford Galaxy” car, drove into the opposite lane and collided with an oncoming “MAN TGA 26.350” truck (garbage truck) and hit the “Ford Galaxy” car.
As it turned out, the girl was a recent high school graduate who had just successfully finished school and was traveling home after the awards ceremony for the best high school graduates in the capital at Vilnius City Hall – she received the highest marks – hundreds – in as many as five matriculation exams.
