To Šilutė – meeting with listeners
The „Laluna“ team came to Šilutė not only to celebrate the birthday but also to meet with listeners and introduce themselves to the people of the Pamario region. During the live broadcast, the people of Šilutė could see up close how the radio air is born, meet the show hosts, greet them, and become part of the live radio.

The mayor of Šilutė district joined the broadcast
During the festive broadcast, the mayor of Šilutė district municipality Vytautas Laurinaitis joined the live broadcast. He promised that the new „Laluna“ frequency would definitely be found and remembered in the municipality’s cars and his personal car.
The rich cultural life of Šilutė was told on the radio by Jūratė Pancerova, director of the Šilutė Cultural Center. Lina Vaičekauskienė, head of the Šilutė Tourism Information Center, invited „Laluna“ listeners to discover the Pamario region, visit the most interesting tourist sites of Šilutė, and get to know the city and its surroundings better.
A special coincidence – listener Rokas
During the radio broadcast, the visit of listener Rokas especially delighted „Laluna“ program hosts Vaida Vytaite and Vilius Regala. The radio staff could see what „Laluna“ would look like if it were a person – Rokas was born in the same year, the same month, and the same day as „Laluna“.
In Klaipėda – listeners’ memories
The celebration also took place in the „Laluna“ studio in Klaipėda. Radio program hosts Jūratė Žavoronkova and Vytautas Žilėnas welcomed listeners from Klaipėda there.
„We haven’t felt so much attention, gifts, and love for a long time. Our listeners are fantastic“ – said Jūratė after the live radio broadcast.
The radio hosts were especially pleased by a call from listener Indrė. She recalled that 24 years ago she met her current husband Tomas on the „Laluna“ air. Next year the couple will celebrate their silver wedding anniversary.

The birthday was not without gifts
The festive broadcast was also full of gifts. Listeners were given delicious šakotis from „Smaližiaus kertelė“, and the birthday partner „HELIOS Galerija“ established a gift voucher worth 400 euros for purchasing goods at „ARV santechnika“.

From now on, the people of the Pamario region can listen to „Laluna“ on the 88.9 MHz frequency in Šilutė. In Klaipėda, the radio station continues to broadcast on the 94.9 MHz frequency.
