Starting from the end of October, the company will discontinue flights on two routes – passengers will no longer be able to reach the Spanish capital Madrid and the Italian resort city of Pescara directly. In addition, as every year, flights to popular European resort cities will not be operated during the cold season.

According to the airline, flights on the Kaunas–Madrid route will be suspended from October 21, and planes will no longer fly to Pescara from November 4.
After the cancellation of these two routes, Ryanair will operate a total of 15 direct routes from Kaunas airport during the winter season. This is three routes fewer than last winter season, when 18 routes of this airline were offered to passengers.
Seasonal resort flights are also suspended for the winter season
As is customary in the aviation market, after the warm season ends, Ryanair traditionally suspends flights to summer holiday and resort regions. This autumn, the last flights from Kaunas airport in various directions are planned for the end of October:

These routes are exclusively aimed at travelers vacationing during the warm season, so their suspension for the winter is a standard airline practice corresponding to the naturally decreased passenger flow.
According to aviation experts, such airline decisions are related to seasonal demand adjustments and the allocation of the aircraft fleet for the winter period.
