The Austrian club crushed Glasgow Celtic 5:1 at home in extra time, having lost the first match in Scotland 0:3.
LASK reached the Champions League group stage for the first time in the club’s history.
Celtic scored first in Linz (Callum McGregor 21 min.), but LASK responded with five goals (Moses Usor 32 min., Robert Ljubičić 48 min., Samuel Adeniran 58 and 109 min., Florian Flecker 90+1 min.).

Meanwhile, Glimt crushed NEC Nijmegen from the Netherlands 3:0 at home. The Norwegians also won the first away match (3:1).
The Dutch chances diminished already in the third minute when Gonzalo Crettaz was shown a red card. Taking advantage of the numerical superiority, the Norwegians scored three times (Fredrik Andre Bjorkan 45+2 min., Sondre Aukland 45+6 min., and Deveron Fonville 73 min. (own goal)).
The Bodø team reached the Champions League for the second consecutive season. Last year, this team sensationally advanced to the round of 16.
We remind that earlier Baku Sabah (Azerbaijan), coached by Valdas Dambrauskas – the first Lithuanian coach to lead his team to the prestigious continental tournament – also qualified for the Champions League.
On Wednesday, the last four Champions League participants will be decided. One of them is expected to be Slovenian champion Celje, which is represented by three Lithuanians – Armandas Kučys, Pijus Širvys, and Artemijus Tutyškinas.
