“Today, there is a shortage of 250 teachers in Lithuania, I am glad that this number is half as much as the shortage we had last year, when more than 500 were missing,” said the Minister of Education, Science and Sports at a press conference in Kaunas on Tuesday.
“Most of the teacher shortage is for part-time positions. There is a shortage of 169 teachers who would work half-time,” she added.
