The well-known man unexpectedly found a message in a bottle carried by the Baltic waves, which a ten-year-old girl from Sweden threw into the water a few weeks ago.
Having traveled about 500 kilometers, the letter ended up right in V. Bareikis’s hands and became an unexpected impulse for his new music.
“I found a message in a bottle from Sweden!
What are the chances that on August 1, ten-year-old Stella, vacationing with her parents in western Sweden, writes a letter, puts it in a bottle, throws it into the sea, and after 23 days it arrives right into my hands near the Lithuania-Latvia border…

I think it best reflects how beautiful and unexpected life is, like some kind of jazz improvisation.
By the way, yesterday I was at a great concert by Kęstutis Vaginis called “In the Water”. He played together with incredible musicians from all over the world who are currently somehow “settled” in Warsaw. There they have a great community of musicians and come by car to play a concert for thirty jazz lovers from Lithuania. Crazy!
