Photos and videos posted on social media show smoke rising from the warehouse after the strike. An air raid warning was in effect in the region before the reported strike.
This attack on Russia’s second-largest online store and main competitor to Wildberries, Ozon, was the second known strike on the company’s facilities.
The first direct attack on the company’s logistics centers occurred the day before during a Ukrainian strike in the Samara region.
The Kyiv Independent has not yet been able to verify these reports. The Ukrainian military has not commented on the reports of the attack so far.
The full extent of the damage is still unclear.
After months of strikes on Wildberries facilities, the Ukrainian military appears to have focused on Ozon facilities across Russia, and Ukrainian officials justify these attacks by claiming the company sells goods to the Russian military.
