George Russell won the Netherlands Grand Prix sprint, leading from the start of the short race to the very end. He held off McLaren driver Lando Norris, who finished in second place.

However, the world champion had quite a bit of competition behind him, as Charles Leclerc was on his tail. He ultimately took third place.
Fourth place was claimed by another Mercedes driver, Kimi Antonelli. Following were Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen, who did not show much action during the sprint.

Points in the sprint were also earned by Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly, who made it into the top eight.
