„We are prepared with a certain plan if the situation in the Middle East escalates and the price of oil or oil products rises, how we would handle the excise tax. We are not talking about VAT. And it would probably be difficult for us, as a country, to compare with the Polish economy. The Polish economy is almost 11 times larger and they have a bit more maneuvering freedom as a government than smaller Lithuania,“ Mindaugas Sinkevičius told journalists in Trakai on Friday.
