The length of the three-section, two-joint vehicle “Solaris Urbino 24 electric” reaches as much as 24.8 meters, making it one of the longest city buses produced by Solaris. The demonstration model was delivered to the Vilnius bus depot on Verkių Street on August 14. The bus was manufactured in 2022.

During the tests, the primary evaluation will be how a nearly 25-meter-long vehicle can move through city streets and whether the existing infrastructure is adapted for buses of this size. A similar test was already conducted in the capital in 2021–2022, when the three-section trolleybus “Solaris Trollino 24” was tested.
