“Due to a technical malfunction, the rotating castle bridge will temporarily not be turned – for passage. We are making every possible effort to fix the malfunction as soon as possible,” the company stated in a Facebook post.
The rotating bridge regularly lets ships returning to the harbor through the Danė river in and out.
This unique device, built about one and a half centuries ago, is considered a historical value. Because of this, its rotation process, operated by two people, is often watched by passersby as an attraction.
