Experts estimate that the total number of Russian losses is approaching 1.5 million soldiers, and recruitment is becoming an increasing problem for Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, with a shortage of troops, he may be forced to start peace negotiations soon, the publication emphasizes.

The publication notes that in recent months, V. Putin has been so desperate that he was forced to lure his compatriots into the war with false promises of “peaceful service” or recruit Africans with similar deceptive schemes.

Ukraine, in turn, claims to have liberated about 780 sq. km on the southern front, recaptured 26 settlements along the front line, and returned them to full Ukrainian control.
