“Additional circumstances of the incident that occurred on Sunday are still being investigated, but judging by everything, the drone is Russian,” said M. O’Donnell.
The Romanian Ministry of Defense did not specify the origin of the drone, stating that it was detected by radars when it entered the country from neighboring Moldova, 24 km north of the city of Galați in eastern Romania.
