The Ukrainian military reported that drones struck a “large oil pipeline dispatch station” in Russia’s Kirov region and an oil depot in the Rostov region, near occupied Ukrainian territory.
The statement said that this pipeline transports oil from Siberia to western Russia and Belarus.
Kirov region governor Alexander Sokolov only stated that Ukrainian drones hit an “object” and caused a fire, but claimed there were no casualties and urged calm.
In the town of Matveyev Kurgan in southern Rostov region, which regularly experiences Kyiv’s strikes, local officials declared a state of emergency due to a large fire caused by a drone hitting an oil depot.
The town’s head Dina Alborova reported that the fire spread over an area of 3,600 square meters and shared photos of black smoke columns. She added that residential houses and several shops were affected.
Meanwhile, officials in Ukraine were clearing the aftermath of a Russian strike on the warehouse of the popular postal company “Nova Poshta” in Dnipro.

The private courier company “Nova Poshta,” widely used in Ukraine and beyond, reported that a drone hit its branch in Dnipro and “the building completely burned down.”
It added that employees were unharmed.
“All these attacks must be stopped,” President Volodymyr Zelensky said online, sharing photos of the fire.
“All that is needed is sufficient support for our defense and constant pressure on Russia,” Zelensky said.
Earlier this week, Zelensky urged the US to provide more ammunition for Patriot air defense systems to repel Russian strikes.
Negotiations to end the more than four-year-long war between Russia and Ukraine have reached a deadlock, sidelined by the conflict in Iran.
