As reported by the Kaunas Fire and Rescue Department, on August 13 at 14:41 a report was received that wasps were being burned on Partizanų Street in Kaunas and a balcony caught fire.

When firefighters arrived, the fire had already been extinguished.
According to the apartment tenant, a cigarette butt caught fire.
About 1 sq. m of the balcony’s plastic cladding was smoked during the fire.
The apartment and stairwell were ventilated. The incident is under investigation.
