NATO fighters shot down a drone in Balvi municipality, which, according to the Latvian National Armed Forces, flew into Latvia due to Russian electronic warfare actions.

The drone was shot down by aircraft that took off from the Šiauliai air base.

“Our air forces saw and monitored, as the fighters took off from the Šiauliai military air base. The object was also seen by Latvia and Estonia,” R. Kaunas said.
