“The USA completely controls the Strait of Hormuz. I BELIEVE WE WILL KEEP IT (control)!” – wrote D. Trump on his platform “Truth Social”.
“Everyone calls our Navy Blockade a STEEL WALL and Iran can do nothing about it,” he added.
D. Trump has repeatedly claimed that the United States controls this strait, which is extremely important for the transport of energy resources and other goods through the Middle East.
However, Iran claims that it actually controls most of this waterway and intends to introduce a toll system in response to the US war started by D. Trump on February 28.
On Tuesday evening, D. Trump told reporters: “Right now we completely control the Strait of Hormuz. They do not control it. We completely control it. It is ours.”
US and Israeli forces have heavily bombed the Iranian military over nearly six months of war and killed a large part of the country’s leadership. The war was initially started to, among other things, force Tehran to abandon its nuclear program and change the regime.

Iran resisted and carried out missile attacks against US bases in the region, Israel, and targets of US allies in the Persian Gulf countries.
The most effective Tehran response was strikes on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, which essentially paralyzed this trade route and shocked the world economy.
With his political popularity declining in the United States ahead of the midterm Congressional elections in November, D. Trump refused threats to escalate the war.
As a result, the war reached a stalemate.
However, the Republican claims that the United States is ready to focus on blocking Iranian ports.
“We are only partially negotiating with them. We are just watching Iran, where there is huge inflation and where there is no money,” D. Trump told the Axios portal on Sunday.
