Unfortunately, he failed, he was rejected at least twice as too weak an artist. And when I say unfortunately, I mean not only him but also us – later events showed that it would have been better if he had been accepted. How is this related to us? You will understand soon.

Rejected as a student, that short man (I am not sure if it is appropriate to use this word in these times of universal political correctness, but I have not heard that it is forbidden) got angry at the whole world and most of all – at his country. He got so angry that for a while he could not find himself – he lived poorly, made a living with odd jobs, and dreamed of one day taking revenge on everyone responsible for his failures.
I believe that failures who blame everyone around them for their troubles are more than abundant in our world and deserve nothing more than ridicule, but this case was different. This failure achieved his goal and caused so much trouble that all of Europe, including us, still hiccups.
