On Thursday, August 6, a Porter Airlines plane had already departed from the terminal of Victoria International Airport (YYJ) in Canada and was taxiing towards the runway when crew members noticed a small child “standing on their seat,” the airline reported to People.

“After the aircraft left the terminal and was taxiing towards the runway, a small child was standing on their seat and refused to fasten the seatbelt. Attempts by one of the traveling parents and the crew to resolve this situation were unsuccessful,” said a Porter Airlines representative.
“Due to such an unsafe situation, the aircraft could not take off, so the crew decided to return to the terminal and disembark the passengers,” he continued.
