Two slightly drunk drivers were caught in the Kėdainiai district over the weekend.
On Saturday morning in Vainotiškiai, a completely drunk man decided to get on a motorcycle, but his trip ended just as it began – he simply fell off the vehicle and got injured. And on Sunday, a drunk cyclist was caught in Okainiai.

According to the Kaunas County Chief Police Commissariat, on August 8, at about 11:20 a.m., a 37-year-old man in the village of Vainotiškiai lost control and fell off a KTM motorcycle he was driving.
It turned out that the motorcyclist was heavily intoxicated. He was found to have a blood alcohol level of 2.56 per mille. Due to the injuries sustained, the man was taken to a medical facility. No further information about his health condition is disclosed.

On Sunday at 11:10 a.m., police officers stopped a 45-year-old man riding an electric bicycle in Okainiai for inspection. Upon checking his sobriety, it was revealed that he was quite drunk. He was found to have a moderate level of intoxication – 2.03 per mille.
Officers remind that driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Drunk drivers pose a danger not only to themselves but also to other road users.
