In July alone, 12.9 thousand real estate transactions were registered – 6.5% more than a year ago (12.1 thousand) and 8% more than in June (12 thousand).
According to the analyst of the Register Center, Paulius Rudzki, the real estate market is quite balanced and resistant to external factors.
“As the year turned to the second half, we continue to observe a fairly stable and even number of real estate transactions. The market activity, which has remained practically unchanged throughout the year, shows that the real estate market is currently quite balanced, and neither internal economic changes nor external factors have a significant impact on it,” said P. Rudzki in a statement.
This year, 21.5 thousand apartment sales were registered in the country – 2% more than at the same time last year (21.1 thousand), and in July alone – 3.3 thousand – 0.1% less than in July last year, but 6.9% more than in June this year.
In Vilnius, 7.7 thousand apartment purchase-sale transactions were registered (2.6% more), in Kaunas – 2.9 thousand (0.6% less), in Klaipėda – 1.8 thousand (1% more).
From January to July, 7.7 thousand individual house sales were also registered – 8.5% more (7.1 thousand), in July alone – 1.4 thousand, or 14.9% more than a year ago and 15.1% more than in June this year.
Moreover, over 7 months, ownership of 37.4 thousand land plots changed – 7% more (34.9 thousand), and in July alone – 6 thousand – respectively 8.1% and 9% more.
