However, the American, who signed a one-year contract with the option to extend it for another year, will play next season not in Kaunas, but for the London Lions club, coached by the well-known Lithuanian Tautvydas Sabonis.
29-year-old K. Evans represented Žalgiris from 2022 to 2024, but his career in recent years was hindered by serious injuries: in January 2023, he tore his Achilles tendon, in May 2024 the American suffered a severe kneecap injury, and in November 2025 the point guard tore the Achilles in his other leg.
Since spring 2024, K. Evans has played in only two games, and in one of them – just two minutes, so many doubt his return to the highest level in Europe.

Therefore, Žalgiris’ decision to trust a former team star impressed S. Francisco, who moved to Athens’ Panathinaikos this summer.
“In a world where business is often the most important, this is proof that humanity still exists,” the Frenchman wrote on the social network X.
