On July 14, Lithuanians submitted data on 836 public toilets on the launched platform, of which 755 were uploaded to the first Lithuanian toilet map, while 81 were rejected. Among them were private people’s addresses, inappropriate photos, and images processed by artificial intelligence.

According to the community’s assessment, the current top five worst toilets are the Grigiškės ring toilet in Vilnius, the Joniškis city park toilet, the toilet near Gaidė village cemetery in Ignalina district, the Sapiegos park toilet in Vilnius, and the White Bridge toilet in Vilnius.
These facilities received the most negative community ratings, often related to cleanliness, odor, inaccessibility, lack of paper, and other basic conditions.
Meanwhile, the best-rated toilets include those near Rokiškis church, the BIG shopping center in Vilnius, Liepų park in Kaunas district, “Caffeine” on Žvejų street in Klaipėda, and the bus station in Šventoji.
“Kurpasikti.lt” is an interactive map of free (and not only) toilets created by citizens. It allows marking publicly accessible toilets, gas stations, cafes, restaurants, parks, and other places’ toilets, uploading their photos, indicating working hours, price, accessibility for people with disabilities and families with babies, and evaluating their actual condition.
In total, 1,124 platform users have already voted on the toilets on the platform by choosing “clean” or “shitty,” evaluating 290 public toilets.
According to the authors of the civic initiative, the platform also allows not only rating toilets but also marking visits by pressing “I was here.” So far, 2,356 visits have been recorded. Currently, the most visits are marked at the Grigiškės ring toilet in Vilnius, the Jūratė and Kastytis square toilet in Palanga, the BIG shopping center toilet in Vilnius, the Talkša lake toilet in Šiauliai, and the Kaunas “Akropolis” toilet.
The best community-rated facilities will be transferred to a separate cleanest toilets map “Kursvaru.lt”.
