“Among all my beautiful photos, I want to leave a memory about the beginning of my second pregnancy. When you see two lines on a pregnancy test, you usually imagine a completely different picture. Lots of joy and anticipation, glowing skin, photos of a growing belly… My reality for three months was quite different.
The first trimester of pregnancy simply stopped me. Constant nausea, endless vomiting, complete lack of strength. There were days when it seemed that my only task was just to survive. IV drips day after day, because my body simply couldn’t cope anymore. At that time, I had to give up concerts, filming, meetings, because even basic household chores became insurmountable.
I remember how it felt like it would never end. And what troubled me the most was not only the physical condition but also the feeling that life was happening somewhere nearby, and I had no strength to participate in it. Luka’s adaptation to kindergarten, premieres of new songs, work, and I was nowhere to be found.
Now, looking back, I understand how strong women are. Often pregnancy on social networks looks very romantic, but behind beautiful photos sometimes lie months of struggle, tears, and endless fatigue. If you are also going through a difficult pregnancy, I want to say one thing – you are not alone. And you don’t need to feel guilty that this journey is not what you imagined.
