The Polish team played an away match in the second round of their national championship on Friday, and on Saturday they started with 4 players who came onto the field as substitutes the day before (Apostolos Konstantopoulos, Jeremy Agbonifo, Anders Klynge, Kamil Jóźwiak). Two players (Dawid Drachal, Youssuf Sylla) who remained on the bench on Friday but played in the starting eleven of “Jagiellonia” in the first round of the Polish championship also appeared in the starting lineup.
In the first half, both teams had several good chances to score. However, the hosts lacked accuracy, and Ignas Plūkas saved his goal once.
On the other side of the field, Ibrahims Seck had a perfect chance to score, but his shot was blocked, and the ball struck by Faustas Steponavičius flew just past the post.

The Białystok team became the Polish champion for the first time in the club’s history in 2023-2024, while finishing third in the “Ekstraklasa” league in the last two seasons.
