The list of overly crowded places also includes the Greek city of Heraklion – there are 22 tourists per local resident. As expected, Venice made it into the top ten – here there are even 21 tourists per local resident. To manage tourist flows, the city is considering introducing a tourism tax. This list of heavily visited tourist spots also includes Rhodes, where there are more than 20 visitors per resident, and the ranking ends with Miami with 18 tourists per local resident.
