Former First Lady Jill Biden admitted that her husband’s performance in the 2024 debates with D. Trump “terrified” her and she feared her husband had a stroke.

“Now Jill Biden has finally admitted that she DOES NOT KNOW what happened to Sleeping Joe during the impressive and highly rated 2024 presidential debates, in which Joe did not perform quite up to the highest debate standards.
She said she thought he had a ‘stroke,’ and various other really bad things, but never rushed on stage to help her confused husband, as any good wife would,” mocked D. Trump on the social network “Truth Social.”
“The only thing she didn’t mention was how well I did against his almost complete collapse.
In other words, as many asked, did my good performance in those debates cause him to simply ‘choke’ and embarrassingly lose, or were there other reasons? No one else knows the answer to this question, but I KNOW!!!” boasted the US president.
What Joe Biden’s wife said
“I was scared because I had never seen Joe like that before or since. Never,” J. Biden said in an interview with CBS News.
“I don’t know what happened,” said the former first lady. “Looking at him, I thought: ‘Oh my God, he had a stroke.’ It terrified me.”
Her comments are the first open admission nearly two years after the event, which tens of millions of Americans watched live. J. Biden, who was 81 at the time and concerned about his age and health, performed very poorly in the debates, which undermined his efforts to seek a second term.
What happened to Biden
Hoarse J. Biden stumbled over words and phrases multiple times while answering questions.
J. Biden’s administration and the former first lady immediately after the debates tried to positively assess the spectacle, which became a fiasco. That evening at an event after the debates, J. Biden said: “Joe, you did a great job. You answered every question. You knew all the facts.”
J. Biden’s aides claimed that these debates were an anomaly – one bad night for an elderly but still energetic and competent president.
Soon after the debates, J. Biden traveled to North Carolina, where he admitted that he “is no longer a young man.”
“I don’t walk as easily as before. I don’t speak as fluently as before. I don’t conduct debates as well as before,” worried the former US president.
However, at the end of July – less than four weeks after the debates, with the Democratic Party in panic over the catastrophic election prospects – J. Biden withdrew from the 2024 presidential race and supported his vice president Kamala Harris.
