This news caused concern among some Lithuanian fans who have tickets for the artist’s performance on Friday at the Darius and Girėnas Stadium in Kaunas. Due to the situation, the news portal Žmonės.lt contacted the concert organizers in Lithuania.
Žmonės.lt received a comment from the organizers stating that the Pitbull concert in Lithuania will take place, and preparations for the event are proceeding as planned.
“We are sad about the news of the canceled Pitbull concert in Latvia, but we can assure you that preparations for the concert in Kaunas are proceeding as planned.
The Darius and Girėnas Stadium uses different stage constructions that meet all the highest safety and technical standards. Currently, there are no circumstances that would suggest the concert in Kaunas could not take place as planned.
We hope that those Pitbull fans from Latvia who will not be able to see the artist in their country will still manage to organize a trip to Kaunas and join the fans in Lithuania at this special event,” the representatives of the concert organizer “Live Nation” commented on the situation to the news portal Žmonės.lt.
