The group members smile, saying that as soon as they heard the first chords and words of the song “I Need You,” nostalgia flooded in – they thought that the piece must be released into a wider broadcast with new strength and sound.

“Although the film tells about divorce, it often brings positive changes. It is worth remembering for all of us that this is just one stage of life, which comes and goes. And this song is like a memory of wonderfully spent time with a loved one,” says Ingrida Martinkėnaitė.

A hit for those longing for love

In the drama full of feelings and unexpected plot twists “Divorce During the War,” the story is about ambitious head of a large advertising agency department Marija, who decided to divorce, and film director Vyta, who is searching for himself. The family lives in Instagrammable homes, seems happy, but Marija wants change. Does divorce always mean failure?

The piece was adapted for the group “Šeškės” by music author, creator, producer, and “M.A.M.A” award winner Paulius Vaicekauskas-Plucando. The video clip was filmed by a young generation cinematographer, nominee of the Lithuanian Cinematographers Association award “Gilė,” Dominika Pieczulis.
