According to television data, the 38-year-old woman was identified using Interpol information. It is believed that she arrived in Greece from Cyprus earlier this month.

The body was found on July 18 in an abandoned building in the center of Athens by a homeless person. According to ERT, the woman died five to seven days before the body was found.
Greek police have not yet responded to the news agency AFP’s inquiry, and the agency was also unable to contact the United Kingdom (UK) embassy in Athens.
