A one-year contract has been signed with the basketball player. The guard spent last season defending the honor of Ankara’s “Türk Telekom” in the Turkish championship and the EuroCup.

“Michael is a talented and versatile guard who can successfully play in several positions,” said Artūras Jomantas, sports director of Vilnius “Rytas”. “He is a basketball player who excels in good court vision, the ability to successfully finish attacks himself, and create opportunities for teammates. He has already gained experience in Europe, where he achieved significant accomplishments with teams in both local leagues and European tournaments. We believe that Michael will quickly integrate into the team, become an important part of it, and further unleash his potential.”
Last season, 2025–2026, representing Ankara’s “Turk Telekom” club, the guard averaged 20 minutes on the court.
In the EuroCup tournament, the basketball player played 20 games, during which he averaged 9.0 (2-pt. 51.9%) points, grabbed 2.4 rebounds, made 3.4 assists, and recorded a 10.4 efficiency rating.
In the Turkish championship, M. Devoe played 25 matches and averaged 9.6 points, 3.2 assists, 1.1 steals, and shot 41.4% from long range.

Before moving to Europe, M. Devoe gained experience in the US basketball system.
In high school, along with future NBA stars such as RJ Barrett, he represented Montverde Academy, with which he recorded a perfect 35-0 season record and became a national champion.
Later, the basketball player spent four years in the strong ACC conference, defending the honor of “Georgia Tech” University. In 2021, he led the team to the ACC championship title and was named the tournament’s most valuable player, finishing his college years in 12th place on the university’s all-time leading scorers list.

After college, the guard, who tested his skills in the NBA G League, quickly moved to Europe.
His first full season on the Old Continent brought the basketball player a resounding victory – with the Weissenfels “Syntainics MBC” club, he won the German Cup and was named the most valuable player of the Final Four, scoring 27 points in the decisive match.
