Central defender returning to Europe
Nathan Vitor de Almeida Silva is a 22-year-old central defender, 191 cm tall. Born on February 27, 2004, the Brazilian is a left-footed footballer who can provide the team with more options both in defense and when starting attacks from deep within the field.

The footballer grew up in the Brazilian “Bahia” system, and later continued his career in Europe – representing the Slovakian team “Šamorín”. After returning to Brazil, he played for “Ituano” and “Maguary” teams.
Describing his playing profile, Nathan highlighted three main qualities.
“I am physically strong, good in the air, and capable of starting team attacks effectively,” said the new blue-and-white central defender.
The Brazilian emphasized that he also brings leadership qualities to FC “Hegelmann”: “I believe that one of my main qualities is leadership. In this area, I can contribute a lot – provide the team with more confidence in defense and already lead.”
The newcomer was encouraged to accept FC “Hegelmann”‘s offer by the project presented by the club and good reviews about the blue-and-white organization.
“I chose FC “Hegelmann” because of the project presented to me. I heard many good reviews about the team. I believe I can still contribute a lot in the rest of the season and will try to help the team in every possible way,” said Nathan.
First career stage in Europe
Another FC “Hegelmann” newcomer is Richard dos Santos Presser.
Born on February 13, 2007, the 19-year-old footballer feels most comfortable in the left-back position and can play with both feet.
Before arriving in Lithuania, Richard represented the youth system of one of Brazil’s most famous clubs – “Coritiba” – and played for the U20 team. In 2025, he played in the Brazilian U20 championship, and at the beginning of 2026, he participated in the traditional “Copinha” youth tournament.
Speaking about his game, the young Brazilian highlighted speed, dribbling, and the ability to help the team on both sides of the field.
“I feel most comfortable playing in the left-back position. I am fast, I often use dribbling, and I try to be useful both in defense and attack,” Richard introduced himself.
The ability to play with both feet gives the defender more options in different game situations: “Playing with both feet allows me to play wide on the wing or move with the ball into the middle of the field. This provides more opportunities for myself and can be beneficial for the entire team.”
The move to FC “Hegelmann” became Richard’s first career stage outside Brazil.
“This is a very big opportunity for me. I am very happy to be here. I hope to help my teammates, be useful to the club, and together ensure that the rest of the season is successful for us,” said the blue-and-white newcomer.
