The TV game “Password” in America boasts a history of over 60 years. The iconic, Emmy-winning format has captivated millions of viewers worldwide. In its latest version, the regular player is one of America’s most famous television personalities, Jimmy Fallon.

“When you get a call like that, the question immediately arises – why me? What makes me so special?” – actor Dainius Kazlauskas talks about producer Saulius Urbonavičius-Sam’s offer to become a regular player in the globally renowned TV project “Slaptažodis”.
Indeed, the famous actor has already tested his strength multiple times in the jury chair of various projects. However, this time, as he himself says, was special and swept him off his feet:
“In America, Jimmy Fallon himself is in this position! He has his own shows, and he’s a famous comedian, he’s on a roll. And in this game, Jimmy Fallon is number one! So I kept asking – seriously? Me? Then we talked, and Sam’s arguments were very convincing. Perhaps I don’t know much about myself or I see myself completely differently. Now I can be happy and joke that I’m probably lucky that the producer believes in me so much.”
Dainius Kazlauskas says that although he consults with his wife, scenographer and costume designer, whom he affectionately calls Indrutė, on many things, he still makes work-related decisions himself. Moreover, the actor himself laughs that a promise he once made to himself was not broken this time either:
“I still live by the promise to say yes to everything! It just so happened that I didn’t break it this time either. Over a couple of years, participating in various projects, I realized that everything is only beneficial. You meet new people who enrich you. Besides, in the theater, we often fall into such darkness and close ourselves off there. Therefore, it’s very healthy to find yourself somewhere else and breathe fresh air. And a really cool crew works on this project. Justinas is also a perfect partner. We have acted together, and we even attended the same gym together!”

Those who know Dainius well know that he is a passionate personality. “If I start playing, I get fired up. Maybe that’s why I avoid it in life. I’ve never played for money, but I like competition and a certain healthy struggle!”
Nevertheless, the famous actor admits that, upon accepting this offer, he had one fear:
“I’m very unlucky in lotteries; I’m a real failure in that area. And in this game, my goal is to help someone win money. So I was very afraid that I would let them down and they would curse me afterwards. However, we already had a trial game, and I did great; it just drew me in. This is not a knowledge test, and anyone can play it. The most important thing here is quick reactions. I’ve never tried playing such a passionate and gripping game in my life. And what’s more, it’s not only fun to play yourself, but it’s also fun to watch others. I think the biggest success of ‘Slaptažodis’ is that speed, which completely draws you in and doesn’t let go until the last moment,” – Dainius Kazlauskas shares his thoughts.
The actor, who is currently trying to get used to his new duties and the label of the Lithuanian Jimmy Fallon, encourages everyone to register:
“There are no losers here. Players always win money here. It’s not a marathon that requires long preparation. It’s a fun sprint. And most importantly, in this game, we will all be equal, sometimes lost, but always in a good mood and with burning eyes to win!”
