During the traffic accident, the BMW driver was injured, and firefighters extricated her from the mangled car. Unfortunately, at about 4:15 PM, the girl died from her injuries in an ambulance.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched.

It turned out that the deceased girl was an exceptionally talented student. On that very day, she received an award for successfully completing school and even getting five perfect scores in her matriculation exams. She was traveling home but did not reach her destination.
This sensitive news was shared on the social network “Facebook” by the deceased girl’s father.
“How thin can the line be between endless joy and endless sorrow…
Big projects, production achievements, wine awards, and other small and large victories bring joy to life. But there is no greater pride in life than successful and happy children.
And there is no greater pain than their loss,” wrote the grief-stricken father.
He also revealed that just on Thursday, their daughter received an award because she had successfully completed school and received five perfect scores for her matriculation exams.
“Unfortunately, on her way home, she did not reach her destination and will not return home.
The immense pain we all feel is a direct reflection of how wonderful our daughter was. She was intelligent, kind, gentle, caring, talented, and most importantly – deeply loved. In our hearts, she will remain so forever.
We love you, we are proud, and we will hug you again when we meet in bright eternity,” wrote the father.
Vilnius City Mayor Valdas Benkunskas also reacted to the tragic accident.
“Sometimes the same day in Vilnius’s life can be both very bright and the darkest. Yesterday, with great joy and pride, we honored the 111 best graduates of our city. Five of them had received as many as 5 maximum scores in their final exams.
Unfortunately, the life of one of them ended in tragedy. This is an extremely painful accident; I cannot even imagine what the loved ones are going through right now. I express my deepest condolences to the entire family, the school community, those who knew her, and all who are grieving,” wrote the mayor.
