A team of specialists from various fields to solve foot problems
One of the main distinctive features of the center is the close cooperation of specialists from different fields. Depending on the client’s condition, the care plan may include podologists, dermatovenerologists, kinesiotherapists, internal medicine doctors, and, if necessary, referrals to endocrinologists, vascular surgeons, orthopedic traumatologists, and in some cases, psychotherapists.
“People often think that a podologist only solves nail or skin problems. However, an ingrown nail can be a consequence of incorrect foot biomechanics, recurrent fungal infections can be related to concomitant diseases, and non-healing wounds sometimes become the first sign of circulatory disorders or diabetes. In such cases, a procedure alone is not enough – it is necessary to look for the true cause of the problem,” says Ina Gruzdeva, head of the REVÙ CLINIC clinical podology department.
According to her, this is why the clinic has chosen an interdisciplinary work model, allowing clients to receive coordinated assistance from necessary specialists in one place.
Treatment begins with diagnostics
According to I. Gruzdeva, in modern podology, a procedure is usually not the first step.
“First, we need to understand why the problem arose. Only after a comprehensive diagnosis can an individual treatment plan be developed that helps achieve a long-term result, rather than just temporarily eliminating symptoms or improving the aesthetic appearance,” says the specialist.
Each client’s condition is assessed individually – foot biomechanics, nail and skin condition, lifestyle, concomitant diseases are analyzed, and, if necessary, laboratory and microbiological tests are performed. Based on their results, an individual care plan is developed, which may include podological procedures, consultations with other specialists, preventive measures, and recommendations for home care.
Assistance – for clients of all ages
At the clinical podology center, assistance is provided to clients of all ages – from the first days of life to old age. Here, babies and children, athletes, seniors, people with diabetes, people after injuries or surgeries, those suffering from skin and nail diseases, as well as people with developmental or neurological disorders are consulted.

“Different clients need different solutions. In some cases, podologist care is sufficient; in others, the involvement of an orthopedist, dermatologist, or endocrinologist is necessary. Our goal is that people do not have to search for answers themselves in different offices. All necessary help must be available in one place,” says I. Gruzdeva.

REVÙ CLINIC states that it aims to establish a new standard for clinical podology in Lithuania, where clients receive comprehensive assistance in one place – from accurate diagnostics to consultations with specialists from different fields and long-term care. According to I. Gruzdeva, this model allows for more effective resolution of complex clinical cases, reduction of complication risks, and ensures better treatment results.
“We want people to seek help not when the problem becomes difficult to manage, but much earlier. Timely professional assistance often helps avoid long-term complications and significantly improves quality of life,” she emphasizes.
Investments in technology and specialists
In recent years, REVÙ CLINIC has consistently invested in medical technologies and its team of specialists.
