According to its data, the total demand for flexible measures in the country will increase from 4.36 to 7.13 GW by 2035, Litgrid announced on Friday.

“The analysis shows that the Lithuanian electricity system is flexible and has the prerequisites for successfully integrating further RES development, but at the same time, we see a growing need for various flexibility solutions in the future,” said Tadas Kivilis, head of Litgrid’s System Management Development Group, in the announcement.
