Behind these threats was 44-year-old Garry Lee Williams from Knoxville. On July 16, the suspect was arrested by FBI agents. The official charge is the interstate dissemination of threats to kill public figures, “Unilad” reported.

According to a statement from the US Attorney’s Office, the man massively published videos and messages on social media, especially on the “TikTok” platform, in which he promised to deal with President Donald Trump, FBI Director Kash Patel, Knox County Sheriff Tom Spangler, and Knoxville Police Chief Paul Noel.
US media quotes court documents revealing the shocking content of these posts. In one of them, the man stated: “President Trump, I’m coming for you and all your cronies… I want your heads to roll. Send all the law enforcement you want – they can fall too.” In another post, the country’s leader was openly threatened: “Step down or you’ll be laid down.”
Even more chilling is that the aggression was directed not only at the president himself but also at his family, including his youngest son Barron. “You didn’t care about my children, so screw you and yours,” was written in one of the threatening messages. In yet another post, the author called on “all corrupt politicians on the list” to “say goodbye to their families.”

The suspect’s initial court hearing took place just a day after his arrest, with a preliminary case review scheduled for August 25. The US Attorney’s Office, following procedures, publicly reminded that until the man’s guilt is unequivocally proven in court, he is presumed innocent.

Such aggressive attacks in the country cause particular concern after a real attempt on the president’s life shook the US just three months ago. On April 25, during the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner at the Washington Hilton hotel, 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen was arrested with a weapon. He was charged with attempted murder of the head of state, use of a firearm during a violent crime, and illegal transportation of a weapon with intent to commit a crime.
Although C.T. Allen denies his guilt, his trial continues – a hearing is scheduled for August 20, where the exact start date of the trial should be announced.
