50 business sectors: companies with the lowest employee turnover announced

At first glance, one might think that if employee turnover is low, the company is a dream employer. However, it is important to emphasize and clarify that low employee turnover does not necessarily signal that there are no internal challenges, difficulties, or an unsuitable culture within the company. Sometimes, low employee turnover is caused by a smaller region, limited job supply, niche company activities, or other factors. Nevertheless, in many cases, a low employee turnover rate in an organization can be treated as a “green flag” for future employees – the company likely has clear internal processes, higher employee engagement, loyalty, stable financial indicators, favorable working conditions, competitive salaries, or other benefits.

For employees looking for a future employer, such indicators are an additional tool for evaluating the organization. However, every indicator (both high and low) has a context – therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the whole picture. For conclusions to be well-founded, the indicators must be discussed during the job interview – this will provide additional information about the organization, processes, and culture.

The comprehensive information platform for employers and job offers lovejob.lt conducted an analysis of company employee turnover and focused on companies with the lowest employee turnover. 50 different sectors in Lithuania were selected, and in each of them, the TOP 3 employers – companies where the employee turnover rate was the lowest in 2025 – were chosen.

It is important to mention that the employee turnover rate is calculated according to a formula, based on SODRA data. The comparison includes medium and large companies and organizations with more than 100 employees (an exception was applied when evaluating Lithuanian “Unicorns”, as not all companies have 100 employees).

What is important to know when evaluating employee turnover?

The employee turnover rate is an important and significant factor when evaluating an organization (company stability, cultural context, processes, and working conditions). A low employee turnover rate is a positive signal in a company when several organizations operating in the same sector and with similar activities are evaluated and compared.

Read more For women with this cancer – an important innovation: what is changing in treatment?

It is important to emphasize that the employee turnover rate more objectively reflects the internal situation of medium and large companies, while for small companies, these numbers alone are not enough for evaluation – context is essential.

It would also be subjective to evaluate turnover rates between different sectors, as each sector has its own specifics determined by seasonality, employee qualifications, nature of work, working hours, competition, shortage of specialists, field of activity, etc.

It is important to note that there are cases where the turnover rate theoretically appears higher, even though employees do not actually leave the organization but transfer to other companies within the group.

In summary, the companies listed above – according to employee turnover rates – are leaders in their sector, representing a positive image as an employer. For every employee, before choosing a potential employer, it is essential to evaluate all possible risks, the company’s situation, working conditions, and market image. The employee turnover rate is one of the reliable factors when looking for a long-term and stable job in the market.
