The case was taken up by the law firm “Černiauskas ir partneriai”. Lawyer Gintaras Černiauskas stated that he would seek to hold the teenagers who incited the fight accountable.
Lawyer J.Manako-Galminė, who has worked on several similar cases in Klaipėda, told 15min that the reality is different: even bullies remain unpunished due to their age.
The events of 2024 in Klaipėda received a huge resonance. That summer, a video made in the garage of an apartment building spread on social networks. The teenager was forced to his knees, beaten, and mockingly demanded to sing “Happy Birthday”.
