The government will propose to recall the ambassador to Austria after she becomes deputy minister

L. Rukštelienė should cease to hold the position of ambassador from August 14.

The decision on this will still have to be made by President Gitanas Nausėda.

As BNS wrote, during her diplomatic career, the new vice-minister worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the Lithuanian Embassy in Latvia, and the permanent representation to international organizations and the OSCE in Vienna.
