“Mom called me to help. When I arrived, I saw that it was very scary – water was running through the ceiling, through everything… Mom lives on the fourth floor, and the water was even on the first floor. It had gone that far,” K. Murauskas recalled with horror.

After going to the neighbors, the cause of the incident became clear.

“They opened the door and said – what happened to you? We said – everything is running. So they looked and saw that the hose was broken…” Karolis told the portal Žmonės.lt.

According to the hair stylist, the damages amount to about 10 thousand euros.

“What surprised me the most was the same question we probably heard ten times: do you have insurance?

Yes. We do. But at such a moment, you least want to repeat the same answer. You want quick help, solutions, and at least a bit of humanity,” said K. Murauskas.

Karolis also shared his thoughts about the very unpleasant situation on his social networks.

“Such a ‘calm’ evening turned into a real nightmare. We were spending the evening at a beloved friend’s place. The phone rings. Mom.

-SOS! SOS! SOS!

My heart sank.

“What happened?…”

Mom says water is running through the ceiling. I thought, well, maybe it’s leaking a bit. But when I arrived, I was speechless.

It wasn’t running. It was pouring. As if someone had turned on a tap right in our home. Water everywhere. A sight I wouldn’t wish anyone to see,” K. Murauskas said.
