The St. Anne’s Chapel, declared a state-protected cultural heritage site of national significance by order, is located in the Židikai cemetery in the village of Liūliškiai, Mažeikiai district. The writer, translator, and educator Marija Pečkauskaitė-Šatrijos Ragana is buried here.

The Gothic-style rectangular chapel with a burial crypt was built in 1941 on the site of the old wooden one. M. Pečkauskaitė’s remains were transferred here.
Frontons with turrets, wall fragments were rebuilt in 1970–1975 and 2003, and the interior of the chapel was also reconstructed.
Since the St. Anne’s indulgences are held in the chapel on the last Sunday of July every year, it was given the name of St. Anne.

By the minister’s order, the Simnas synagogue, located in the town of Simnas, Alytus district, was declared a state-protected cultural heritage site of regional significance.
It was built in 1905, and a Jewish school also operated here. After World War II, cultural centers and a sports hall were established in the currently non-operational synagogue.
