Commenting on the massive ballistic missile strike on Kyiv carried out by Russian forces last night, he emphasized that it was the aggressor Russia that chose to continue the war instead of peace, but noted that this will be a war of attrition.
“And it is precisely [the Kremlin host] Vladimir Putin, blinded by hatred and the ideas of [Sergey] Kiriyenko (first deputy head of V. Putin’s administration – ed.) and [Valery] Gerasimov (Chief of the Russian General Staff – ed.), who sees nothing else but war,” said the head of the Center for Combating Disinformation.

A. Kovalenka emphasized that Ukraine will hold out, but according to him, the Russian elite should realize that their situation will only worsen.
“Putin must be overthrown, the regime changed, and a dialogue for peace started. With Putin, Russia as it is now will not exist in the future. Russian citizens of mobilization age should leave the country before September,” he warned.

The day before, A. Kovalenka reported that Russia plans to mobilize more than 500,000 people in the fall, aiming to “plug” its losses and possibly open a new front direction.
According to him, autumn and winter will be difficult for Ukraine due to intense infantry battles involving drones, guided aerial bombs, and other weapons.
