What are the main sources of pollution at home and in offices? What harmful substances do they emit?
A person breathes on average 20 thousand times a day, about 10 thousand liters of air enter their lungs. It is no surprise that the environment in which we live and work has a great impact on our health. Studies show that people spend most of their time (about 80-90 percent) indoors. However, only recently has more attention been paid to indoor air quality, and the causes of poor indoor air quality have been sought.

The term “sick building syndrome” has appeared, when people in buildings notice health changes related to being in those premises, but no specific disease is diagnosed. Various theories have been proposed, but in many cases it is not possible to determine the exact cause of the “sick building.” Indoor air pollution is caused by pollutants coming from outside and pollutants whose source is inside the room itself.
