Speaking to the news portal Žmonės.lt, Ž. Grigaitis admitted that a cloudy sky is not an obstacle for him. On the contrary, in the eyes of the businessman, rain gives the event a certain charm and an international flavor.

“I am already used to the rain. Looking at all international competitions – Formula 1 or horse races – you can see that I am prepared with all the gear: I have special boots and rainwear. Such weather adds charm. Of course, it adds extra responsibility for the racers, it is very difficult for them, but it does not surprise me. I think you have to be prepared for everything,” said Ž. Grigaitis.
The main accent of the businessman’s outfit on Saturday was rubber boots, which protected not only from moisture but also from the mud lurking near the track.
Žilvinas said that this choice was dictated by bitter experience when he had to sacrifice expensive shoes for style.
On Saturday, the famous man wore what were chosen as the most beautiful boots in the world, which can cost between 400 – 600 euros.
“I chose a 50-50 ratio. Knowing such weather… There have been races when I ruined a pair of shoes, which I later had to simply throw away. Since my footwear is expensive, I thought: okay, I have one of the most stylish boots in the world, so today they fit very well here. This is a model released by Calvin Klein six years ago, recognized as one of the most stylish in the world,” he said.

The businessman, who has been attending races for many years, did not spare kind words for the longevity of the event and the patience of the organizers: “Every year the races are very different. I am very glad that the organizer does this, that he has enough health. Every time something new appears here – something more, something less.”
Ž. Grigaitis also revealed that he has a personal tradition that he never breaks when visiting this event.
“I have a tradition to greet the mayor of Palanga when all the teams line up, to wish a good season and to say that you should not stop, you need to move forward,” the businessman said.
Asked about summer plans, Žilvinas admitted that his heart and time this season belong to the seaside. Here he enjoys not only peace but also the ever-improving infrastructure.
“Since I have my own home by the seaside, I try to spend as much time here as possible, although I do not always manage. I am very glad that now it is possible to fly from Palanga airport everywhere as conveniently as from Vilnius,” said Ž. Grigaitis.
