According to the publication “The Economist,” complete isolation of the peninsula would give Ukraine strong positions in any future negotiations. Ukraine’s drone operations targeting the strategic infrastructure of the peninsula are already yielding results.

It is noted that Ukraine, using drones, attacks not only strategic infrastructure objects in Crimea but also roads, railways, and waterways connecting the peninsula with Russia. Data from the conflict monitoring organization ACLED shows that out of 692 attacks carried out since 2022, more than half occurred in the past 12 months.
